Strawberry Angel Food Delight - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small pkg. strawberry Jell-O
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    1 large low-fat Cool Whip
    1 loaf angel food cake
    1 c. pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Boil 2 cups water and stir in Jell-O.
    When dissolved, add 12 ice cubes and stir until melted, for a quick set.
    Stir in thawed strawberries; fold in Cool Whip, pecans and cake (which has been cut in 2 to 3-inch cubes).
    Cover and chill at least one hour before serving.
    Store in refrigerator.
