Good And Easy Rice(Servings: 8) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. rice (white, brown, wild, your choice)
    1 can beef consomme
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1 c. bell pepper (frozen can be used), chopped
    1 large can mushrooms, sliced
    8 oz. can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 stick butter or margarine
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Place in order in large casserole.
    Cook in 350\u00b0 oven for one hour or until all liquid is absorbed.
    Stir occasionally.
