Country Captain Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. rice
1/3 c. raisins
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 tsp. curry powder
2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken, cut up
1 medium onion, chopped
2 c. water
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
chopped peanuts (optional)
chopped parsley (optional)
Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine rice and raisins in shallow, 2-quart (12 x 8 x 2-inch) baking dish.
Melt butter or margarine in large skillet.
Stir in curry powder.
Add chicken; brown well on all sides.
Arrange on rice mixture.
