La Bella Lasagne - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 lb. ground pork
    1 clove garlic, minced
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    1 Tbsp. basil
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 (No. 303) can tomatoes (1 3/4 c.)
    26 oz. can tomato paste
    2 c. Ricotta cheese or cream-style cottage cheese
    1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 lb. Mozzarella cheese
    1 lb. pkg. lasagne, cooked, drained and rinsed in cold water
Preparation
    Cook meat until brown. Drain off excess fat.
    Add garlic, parsley, basil, salt, tomatoes and tomato paste. Simmer for 1/2 hour, stirring occasionally. Combine Ricotta and Parmesan cheese. Add eggs, salt and pepper.
    To assemble lasagne, pour a thin layer of tomato sauce in bottom of a 13 x 9-inch baking dish. Cover with a layer of lasagne.
    Lay half the Mozzarella over cheese.
    Spread a layer of tomato sauce over all. Repeat layers. Top with remaining lasagne and tomato sauce.
