Lumberjacks("A Sturbridge Village Cookie") - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 sticks margarine
    1 c. dark molasses
    2 eggs
    4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/4 c. extra sugar
Preparation
    Cream together sugar and margarine.
    Add molasses and eggs. Mix well. Stir in dry ingredients.
    Mix well.
    Put 1/4 cup sugar into bowl. Pinch off ball of dough about the size of a walnut. Roll into ball. Cover with sugar in bowl.
    Place balls on greased cookie sheet 3-inches apart (24 to a cookie sheet).
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Dough will keep indefinitely in refrigerator.
