Pecan Crispies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    2 eggs
    2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream the shortening and sugar, beating well.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Combine flour, soda and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture; mix well and stir in pecans.
    Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart on lightly greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Cool slightly on cookie sheets before removing.
    Makes about 5 dozen.
