Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    2 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. beef broth
    3 Tbsp. tomato paste
    1 1/2 c. dairy sour cream, blended with 4 Tbsp. flour
    6 Tbsp. Burgundy wine (optional)
Preparation
    Brown ground beef in hot shortening in skillet.
    Put all ingredients in slow cooker.
    Stir thoroughly.
    Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
    Serve over hot, cooked noodles or rice.
    Serves 6 to 8.
