Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 stick oleo
2 egg yolks
2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix sugar, flour and buttermilk.
Mix well.
Cook over low heat.
Add oleo and stir until melted. Add beaten egg yolks.
Cook until thick, stirring constantly.
Remove from fire and add vanilla.
Pour in a baked pie shell and top with meringue.
Brown meringue in a 350\u00b0 oven.
