Lemon Ice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. water
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. fresh lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. lemon zest
    6 fresh mint sprigs
Preparation
    Boil the water in a saucepan; stir in sugar until dissolved. Remove from heat and cool.
    Add lemon juice and zest.
    Pour mixture into a metal bowl and freeze.
    When ready to serve, beat the ice until fluffy and scoop into lemon or lime \"shells\" or serve in small glass bowls or wine glasses.
    Top with mint sprigs.
