Rhubarb Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. fresh rhubarb, chopped
1/2 c. brown sugar
cinnamon to taste
Preparation
-
Cream shortening and sugar well; add eggs.
Beat well.
Add next 5 ingredients alternately with milk and vanilla.
Mix well after each addition.
Stir in rhubarb.
