Dianne'S Coconut Pie(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    3/4 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 egg yolks
    1 1/2 c. coconut
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    cooked pie shell
Preparation
    Heat
    milk
    6
    minutes on High.
    Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and egg yolks, beaten.
    Add to milk.
    Cook on High 4 to 5 minutes until thickens (consistency of pudding).
    Add coconut, butter
    and vanilla.
    Pour
    into
    cooked pie shell.
    Top with meringue made from the 3 egg whites.
    Brown in oven.
