Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
1 (15 oz.) jar applesauce
1 1/4 c. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
1/3 c. milk
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 c. dark seedless raisins

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch pan. Into a large bowl, mix all ingredients except raisins with mixer at low speed.
Beat until well mixed, constantly scraping the bowl.
Beat at high speed 3 minutes.
