Squash Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. chopped yellow squash
    2 c. chopped onions
    2 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 large jar chopped pimento
    3 qt. water
    2/3 c. canning salt
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed
    2 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Soak squash, onions
    and
    bell
    pepper in salt water (3 quarts water and 2/3
    cup canning salt) for 1 hour.
    Pour off. Make up remaining
    ingredients.
    Bring
    to boil.
    Drop vegetables into brine.
    Bring
    to
    boil
    again, then put in jars and seal.
