Old World Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices crisp bacon, crumbled
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 (10 oz.) can chicken broth
    1/4 c. water
    salt and pepper to taste
    dash of curry powder
    1/2 c. sliced celery
    3 1/2 c. tomatoes (1 lb. 12 oz. can)
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Cook celery and onion in butter.
    Add tomatoes, broth, seasonings and cornstarch combined with water.
    Simmer 15 minutes. Stir in cooked bacon.
    Top with cheese.
    Serves 6.
