Splenda Apple Pie - cooking recipe

6 Granny Smith apples
1 c. Splenda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 stick margarine, melted
1/2 diet 7-Up or Sprite
1 can crescent dinner rolls
Preparation

Peel and core apples and slice or chop.
Combine cinnamon and sugar; stir until mixed. Spray a 9 x 13 casserole dish with Pam. Place apples into casserole dish. Top with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Pour soda over apples; pour melted margarine over apples. Layer crescent rolls over apple mixture, laying wide ends to narrow ends to form good coverage. Sprinkle chopped pecans over rolls and bake at 375\u00b0 for approximately 35 to 40 minutes. Serve with a scoop of ice cream or Cool Whip.
