Quick Surprise Potato Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. lukewarm milk
1 c. unseasoned mashed potatoes
1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
2 cakes yeast
3/4 c. soft shortening
4 to 4 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Mix together lukewarm water, potatoes (packed in cup), sugar and salt.
Crumble yeast into mixture.
Stir until yeast is dissolved.
Add shortening.
Mix in flour with spoon or hand. Turn dough onto lightly floured board.
Cover and let stand 10 minutes to tighten up.
Then knead until smooth and elastic. Round up and divide in 2 parts to make dough easy to handle.
