Taco Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 (16 oz.) can pintos, rinsed and drained
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
    l (16 oz.) can lima beans, rinsed and drained
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can hominy, drained
    3 (14 1/2 oz.) cans stewed tomatoes
    3 (4 oz.) cans chopped green chilies
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning
    1 (1 oz.) pkg. Ranch dressing mix
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 small can tomato sauce
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onions; drain fat.
    Add all remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes. Top each bowlful with cheese.
    Serve with tortilla chips and sour cream.
    Serve with shredded cheese.
