Fresh Greens - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 bunches greens
    1 lb. bacon, salt pork or smoked ham hocks
    water
    sugar (optional)
    salt
    pepper
Preparation
    Wash greens (turnip, mustard, collard or a combination). Remove tough stems.
    Cut bacon, salt pork or ham hocks in small pieces; add water and boil slowly.
    Add black pepper and salt to taste.
    Cook greens until tender.
    Serve with cornbread.
