Moist Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. sour milk
1 tsp. soda
2 well beaten eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 sq. melted chocolate
1 c. boiling water
Preparation

You can sour milk by adding 1 1/2 teaspoons vinegar to regular milk.
Let stand a few minutes.
Add soda to sour milk.
Let stand. Cream shortening and sugar.
Add sour milk alternately with flour and salt.
Add eggs.
Add chocolate.
Add boiling water.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Makes a deep, rich cake.
