Best Ever Chocolate Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 (1 oz.) sq. semi-sweet chocolate
1/2 c. butter
1 1/4 c. powdered sugar
3 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 to 2 Tbsp. chopped nuts or almonds (optional)
Preparation

Melt chocolate in the top of a double boiler over hot water. Combine butter and powdered sugar in mixing bowl.
Beat well until smooth and creamy.
Beat yolks, one at a time, stirring constantly.
Stir in chocolate, vanilla and nuts (if used).
Chill until mixture is fairly thick, but not yet set.
Drop mixture into small paper cups or spread on baking sheet lined with waxed paper. Refrigerate until set.
Cut chocolate on baking sheet into bite-size pieces.
Makes about 30 pieces.
Preparation time: 25 minutes.
Chilling time: 1 hour.
