Cheese Straws - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (8 oz.)
    1 c. margarine, softened
    1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. red pepper
    1 tsp. hot sauce
    garlic salt
Preparation
    Grate cheese, blend with margarine and add hot sauce.
    Sift flour and add salt and pepper; mix thoroughly.
    Roll on floured board and cut into strips or put through a cookie press, using the rope tip.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until golden brown (10 to 12 minutes). Yields 4 to 5 dozen.
