Raisin Honey Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. raisins
    1/2 c. honey
    4 c. white bread cubes
    1 qt. milk
    5 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    few grains nutmeg
Preparation
    Rinse raisins and drain.
    Combine honey and bread cubes; cook over low heat and stir until bread absorbs honey (2 to 3 minutes). Blend milk, slightly beaten eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla together. Add with raisins to bread cubes; mix well.
    Pour into buttered baking dish.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Place dish in pan of hot water and bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
    Serve plain or with whipped cream.
    Serves 6 to 8.
