Ingredients

2 c. self rising flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable oil
3 eggs
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. fig preserves with juice
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients.
Add oil, eggs and buttermilk.
Beat well, and add chopped figs, vanilla, and nuts.
Bake in bundt pan at 325 degrees about one hour and 15 minutes.
