Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. oil
    1 tsp. soda
    2 eggs
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 oz. red food coloring
    pecans (if desired)
Preparation
    Mix sugar and oil.
    Add eggs and vinegar.
    Put soda in buttermilk; add with flour.
    Add vanilla and coloring last.
    Pour into three 8-inch pans and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
