Gladys' Chocolate Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. dry cocoa
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 1/4 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine sugar, cocoa, cornstarch and salt.
    In medium heavy pan, gradually stir in milk.
    Cook medium heat; stir constantly until it boils, not too hot.
    Don't hurry it.
    Use wooden spoon. Boil 1 minute.
    Remove from heat; blend in butter and vanilla. Pour in clean bowl.
    Refrigerate.
    Use as pudding or terrific for pies.
    Approximately 3 cups pudding.
