Banana Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. soft butter or margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    4 medium ripe bananas, mashed
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs and mix well.
    Add bananas. Mix in flour, salt and soda.
    Stir in nuts (optional).
    Pour into 2 greased loaf pans.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 15 minutes; reduce heat to 350\u00b0 and bake for 35 to 45 minutes more.
