Chewy Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. soft butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. corn syrup
1/4 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped walnuts and/or pecans
1 egg
1/2 c. water

Preparation

Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
In small bowl, blend all ingredients well. Spray pan with Pam, 9 x 13-inch pan.
Spread in prepared pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes.
Cool and cut into 1 x 2-inch bars.
