Orange Salad Or Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. orange Jell-O
    2/3 c. ginger ale
    1 1/3 c. water
    2 c. (1 pt.) orange sherbet
    1 c. mandarin oranges, drained
    1 c. pineapple chunks, drained
Preparation
    Dissolve Jell-O in 1 1/3 cups hot water (boiling).
    Add cold ginger ale.
    Stir in orange sherbet and mash until dissolved.
    Set in refrigerator for 3 to 5 minutes or until slightly thickened. If it's starting to jell, add fruit and return to refrigerator until firm.
