Summer Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. gelatin, any flavor
    1 cup boiling water
    1 (46 oz.) can pineapple juice
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    4 cups cold water
    2 qts. gingerale
Preparation
    Dissolve gelatin in water.
    Add pineapple juice, sugar, and cold water. Stir well.
    Pour into container and freeze.
    Set out 2 1/2 hours before serving.
    Chunk up just before serving.
    Add chilled gingerale.
