Roasted Asparagus - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh asparagus, trimmed
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    pinch salt
    shaved parmesan cheese
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Arrange oven racks to middle and lower third of oven.
    Heat oven to 400 degrees.
    Divide asparagus and spread on two jelly-roll pans.
    Toss each with 1 tablespoon oil and salt.
    Roast 10 minutes. Switch pans between racks and roast 10 minutes more until stalks are tender.
    Sprinkle top with cheese if desired and pepper.
    Makes 4-6 servings.
