Cherry Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    1 can crushed pineapple and juice
    1 large Thank You brand sweet cherries, thickened
    2 sticks margarine
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Place pineapple (including juice) in a 9 x 13-inch ungreased pan.
    Add cherries next.
    Sprinkle cake mix over fruit.
    Slice margarine into pats and place on cake mix along with nuts.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 45 minutes or until it is lightly browned. Serve with Cool Whip or French vanilla ice cream.
