Fried Green Tomatoes - cooking recipe

1 medium green tomato per person
salt
pepper
white corn meal
bacon drippings
Preparation

Slice tomatoes 1/4-inch thick, season with salt and pepper. Coat both sides with corn meal.
In a large skillet, heat enough bacon drippings to fry tomatoes.
Fry until browned on both sides.
