Black-Eyed Pea'S Baked Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. medium-sized yellow squash
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. bread crumbs
    1 stick butter
    1/4 c. sugar
    salt as needed
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Cut each squash into 3 or 4 pieces.
    Cook in enough boiling water to cover.
    Drain in colander and mash.
    Combine with rest of ingredients. Cover with light layer of bread crumbs.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until light brown.
