Tempura - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. rice flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 tsp. tamari sauce
    1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
    1/2 to 1 c. cold water
    2 to 4 c. polyunsaturated oil (for frying)
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    6 c. fresh veggies, cut in 1/4-inch slices
Preparation
    Stir together flour and baking powder in a bowl.
    Add tamari sauce, water and egg.
    Stir until smooth (if too thick, add more liquid).
    Pour oil into a large pan or wok heated to 375\u00b0.
