Fanny Farmer Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 C. sugar
    1 - 15 oz. can evaporated milk
    1/2 lb. butter (or 1/4 lb butter and 1/4 lb margarine)
    24 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips (real)
    3 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 C. nutmeats, chopped
Preparation
    In large saucepan combine sugar and milk.
    Heat to rolling boil and boil 6 minutes; stirring constantly.
