Ground Beef 'N' Biscuits - cooking recipe

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dried oregano
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
1 (7 1/2 oz.) tube refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Cook meat, celery and onion together; drain. Stir in flour, salt, oregano and pepper until blended. Add tomato sauce and peas; simmer for 5 minutes. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 baking dish. Separate biscuits; arrange over beef mixture. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until biscuits are golden and cheese is melted. Makes 6 servings.
