Easy Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2-1/2 to 3 lb. chicken, cut up
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 can tomato paste
    2 c. mushrooms, sliced
    1 tsp. basil, crushed
    2 (14-1/2 oz.) cans Italian style stewed tomatoes
    1 c. zucchini, sliced
    hot cooked pasta
Preparation
    Brown chicken in oil for 1 minute, turning occasionally. Drain.
    Add tomato paste, tomatoes, mushrooms, zucchini and basil. Salt and pepper to taste.
    Cover and simmer 25 minutes.
    Serve over pasta.
