Divinity - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
    1/2 c. cold water
    1 tsp. vinegar
    1 egg white, beaten stiff
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil sugar, water and vinegar to 240\u00b0.
    Pour slowly on egg whites, beating until creamy.
    Add nuts and vanilla and drop in lumps on waxed paper or spread in buttered pan and cut in squares.
