Oyster Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. oysters
    2 potatoes, diced
    1 stalk celery, chopped
    1 carrot, sliced (optional)
    salt and pepper
    butter
    milk
    1 recipe pastry
Preparation
    Parboil potatoes, celery
    and carrot until fork-tender. Drain. Layer vegetables and oysters
    in
    baking pan.
    Dot top with butter; pour heated milk over.
    Add
    top
    crust.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
