Russian Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    pinch of salt
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1 Tbsp. sweet cream
    1 c. chopped pecans (fine)
Preparation
    Cream the shortening, sugar and salt all together, then add remaining ingredients.
    Stir all together and roll in hard ball by hand the size of walnuts.
    Lay on cookie sheet; press down with spoon a little.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes and roll in powdered sugar while warm.
