Vidalia Onion Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium Vidalia onions, sliced thinly
    1 stick butter or margarine
    3 eggs, beaten
    1 c. sour cream or plain yogurt
    dash of Tabasco
    pastry shell (deep dish, bottom only)
    grated cheese: Havarti, Parmesan or Swiss
    pepper
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter or margarine.
    Mix eggs and sour cream or yogurt; add to onions.
    Season with dash of Tabasco and pepper. Pour into pie shell; sprinkle with cheese.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 20 minutes, then at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes more.
