Apple Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sliced maraschino cherries
1 c. heavy whipping cream
1/3 c. flour
4 large Stayman Winesap apples
1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. chopped nuts (walnuts)
Preparation

Mix flour and sugar together.
Stir into cream.
Add pineapple.
Cook in double boiler until boiling.
Remove from heat.
Add butter and cool.
Peel and dice apples.
Add nuts and cooled dressing.
Add cherries and mix.
