Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. cake flour
    1 2/3 c. egg whites
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. white sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
Preparation
    Sift cake flour.
    Measure; add 3/4 cup sugar and sift 5 times. Set aside.
    Beat egg whites and salt until foamy; add cream of tartar.
    Beat until egg whites stand in a peak, not dry.
    Add vanilla and almond flavoring.
    Then turn the mixer on low speed and add 1 cup sugar.
    Add 1/3 at a time with mixer on low just until mixed.
    Then add flour and sugar that has been sifted together (do this by hand with a wire spoon).
    Use about 1/3 of flour and sugar at a time and fold it in.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until done.
