Frozen Parfait - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. water
    2 egg whites
    pinch of salt
    2 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. whipped cream
Preparation
    Boil sugar and water without stirring.
    Form a thread, about 5 minutes (233\u00b0 on thermometer).
    Beat egg whites while candy is boiling.
    Add salt to egg whites.
    Slowly pour hot syrup into egg whites.
    Beat until thick with mixer.
    Cool.
    Add vanilla.
    Whip the cream and fold in.
    Layer with strawberries and freeze until ready to serve.
