Easy Hot Fudge Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3 sq. baking chocolate, broken into chunks
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 stick margarine
    1 can evaporated milk (tall can)
Preparation
    Place all ingredients in top of a double boiler (put chocolate and margarine in after mixing the liquids and sugar together).
    Let set over simmering water, can set for an indefinite time.
    Stir occasionally.
    The last step is to beat briefly.
    This makes it lose its curdly look and leaves it smooth and finished.
    Makes close to a quart of sauce.
    Store in refrigerator.
    May be heated in microwave or in jar set in water and heated, stirring occasionally.
