Venison Sour Cream Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. venison
    3 c. water
    1 1/2 c. vinegar
    2 onions
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. mixed spices
    6 slices bacon
    3/4 pt. sour cream
Preparation
    Cover meat with vinegar and water.
    Add sliced onions, salt and mixed spices.
    Let stand overnight.
    Place bacon strips over top of roast and bake at low temperature (275\u00b0) until meat is tender.
    Cut meat into slices.
    Use juices and thicken slightly with flour and water.
    Add cream and meat to gravy.
    Boil for few minutes to blend and serve with dumplings.
