Lew'S Ginger Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. Crisco
    1 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. molasses
    1 egg
    2 tsp. soda
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Cream together Crisco and sugar.
    Add molasses and egg.
    Beat together.
    Sift together soda, flour, ginger and cinnamon.
    Stir by hand.
    Refrigerate at least a couple of hours (can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight).
    Roll into balls (3/4-inch). Roll in granulated sugar and bake on ungreased cookie sheet 2-inches apart (will spread out) 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Makes approximately 5 dozen.
    Great with apple cider!
