Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 tsp. ground nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
    2 eggs, lightly beaten
    4 c. apples (approximately 6), pared and diced
Preparation
    Sift the flour, sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt into a large bowl. Stir in the apples, nuts, butter and lightly beaten eggs.
    Mix ingredients thoroughly together.
    The batter will be very thick.
    Transfer to greased pan.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven until cake springs back at touch, about 1 1/4 hours.
    Serve warm topped with vanilla ice cream.
