Zenobia Bryant'S Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. mashed, cooked sweet potatoes
1/4 c. oleo or butter
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. lemon juice or extract
1/4 tsp. almond extract
2 tsp. vanilla extract
3 eggs
1 1/2 c. milk
1 unbaked (9-inch) pie crust
Preparation

Combine first 10 ingredients in large mixing bowl; beat at medium speed of electric mixer until smooth.
Gradually add milk and beat
until
well
blended.
Pour
into 9-inch pastry shell. Bake at 425\u00b0
for 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 375\u00b0 and bake about 60\tminutes.
Let
cool
and
garnish with nuts, if desired.
