Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. white corn syrup
dash of salt
1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
Preparation

Beat eggs thoroughly. Add sugar, syrup and salt.
Mix well. Add melted butter and vanilla. Beat well.
Put chopped pecans in bottom of pie shell. Pour mixture over nuts. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes; lower temperature to 300\u00b0 and bake 35 minutes longer.
